Grand Isle State Park Beach Walk + Yoga 

Get your feet in the sand with a 2-3 mile beach stroll followed by a yoga session with crashing waves as the soundtrack! We’ll meet at the Grand Isle State Park pavilion. Afterward, feel free to stay and play to enjoy the beauty of the park.

Supporting The Blue Boot Foundation

A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to The Blue Boot Foundation. This foundation was born from a profound personal tragedy and transformed into a beacon of hope in memory of Riley John Bourgeois. Their mission is to turn grief into action by educating, advocating, and implementing life-saving water safety measures.

As we walk, you will see the Life Ring and Throw Bag stations along the beach. These were placed by the foundation to provide immediate, accessible equipment for water emergencies, and this program has already been credited with saving lives in our communities.

Important Drowning Facts:

• Drowning is preventable, yet it remains a leading cause of accidental death.

• On average, 3 people drown every day.

• Approximately 22% of drownings occur with at least one adult present.

Registration & Payment

To account for potential weather cancellations, pre-payment is not required to register.

• Registration is Required with Waiver consent.

• Payment Options: Pre-register here with a card (includes a small processing fee), or select "Pay Later" to pay on the day of class via Cash (exact change only) or Venmo (@Amy-Danigole).

  A portion of your registration will be donated to the Blue Boot Foundation.

• Support the Mission: Additional donations can be made directly at bluebootfoundation.com to support programs like "Little Floaters" swimming lessons and life jacket distributions.

• Space is limited. Please only register if you plan to attend.

Note: There is an additional $3 entrance fee per person to Grand Isle State Park (GISP) that is not included in the class registration.

Important Event Policies

• Weather Permitting: This event is subject to weather conditions.

  If weather is not optimal, the event will be postponed to a new date, and your reservation will be automatically transferred.

• Credits: If the new date does not work for you and payment was made, an account credit will be issued for future use (NO REFUNDS).

• Deadline: Registration for this event will close 3 days prior to the date to confirm attendance.
